Speed

Speed describes only how fast a price trend (or object) is moving.

Speed says nothing about direction. Speed is rapidity of movement. It’s the angle of the slope, up or down.

It may occur to you that speed is also volatility. Historical volatility can be thought of as the speed (rate of change) of the price of stock, ETF, bond, commodity, or currency.
